Omega Wood Skydragon, Horai

Evaluation

Continuing in the somewhat ironic Puzzle and Dragons tradition, Skydragons - like most other dragons - are pretty bad. They're not as bad as the Legendary dragons, however, because there are at least niche use cases for them. Sadly, these niche cases are usually "I have No Dragon Lord Zaerog and this is a luxury farming team."

So let's see... Skydragons have very high ATK stats at their highest levels, but not much else. Unfortunately, they also have Late stat growth curves, so until they're millions of HP deep, your basic Resist dragons will have better stats across the board. Including ATK. Their Ultimate Evo helps their damage quite a bit, but still, they're really expensive for what's basically a big stat stick. Their Leader skills are worthless. Their Active skills have a nice, short cooldown but seriously lack power. They are incredibly expensive to put on a team, especially after Ultimate Evo.

In short, except for weird edge cases for players who have everything, Skydragons are just trophy monsters.

For New Players

You don't have them, don't want them, and can't fit them on a team. Trust me, you'll get over it.

Background

The Skydragons are all named after mythical locations. Horai is a mythical mountain in Japanese myth (taken from a similar Chinese myth) populated by tiny fairies, where simply by breathing you gain knowledge from the souls in the atmosphere. Wikipedia
