Yomi Mistress, Izanami
Evaluation
Dark Izanami, like her Light version, is a weird creature.
On one hand she has a boatload of HP and a high ATK coupled with the nonexistent RCV of a Physical type. Her leader skill is an unconditional 4x ATK to Physical types in exchange of halved HP. This means she can form a mighty 16x ATK team with another Dark Izanami, but in exchange their HP would be cut to a quarter.
This far she is the same glass-cannon as Light Izanami, however she has one big advantage: her Active Skill, which is a 30% damage decrease for 3 turns. This doesn't sound too hot until you realize that it can be skilled up to a 6 turn CD, meaning two max skilled Dark Izanamis can actually form a weaker version of Warded Storm God, Susano no Mikoto's Infinite-Defense barrier, which is pretty neat and can also be fitted into a number of different teams as needed. It also helps that, unlike Susano, she is actually farmable and skillable without throwing a fortune down the REM...
In conclusion, since Physical types have very high HP and ATK, it makes her Leader Skill somewhat safer and more destructive than Empress of Creation, Izanami's, with the team's inherently low RCV being the biggest problem.
She could also serve as a useful sub on a 1x/9x/1x double Earth-Rending Emperor, Siegfried team with the aforementioned possibility for an Infinite-Defense Barrier to boot.
Other viable combinations include a 0.5x/12x/1x Earth-Rending Emperor, Siegfried team, and a more modest 1x/8x/1x team with
Flame Chaser or
Absolute Zero Hrungnir.
For New Players
She drops from a Descended dungeon, so she is really not something a new player should worry about.
Background
In Japanese mythology, Izanami-no-Mikoto, also given as 伊弉冉尊 or 伊邪那美命, meaning "she who invites" is a goddess of both creation and death, as well as the former wife of the god Izanagi-no-Mikoto. She is also referred to as Izanami-no-kami.
Izanami died giving birth to the child Kagu-Tsuchi (incarnation of fire) or Ho-Masubi (causer of fire). Distraught over her death, Izanagi ventured into the underworld to bring her back to life, but by then Izanami had already became the goddess of death. Upon seeing her rotting form Izanagi rushed out of the underworld and sealed up the entrance.
Her unevolved form bears the Ame-no-nuboko (heavenly spear) which was used in the creation of the world, but on the other hand her Yomi Mistress version is not a rotting corpse (thankfully, if I might add).
