Evaluation
Shouki is, in all practical ways, the light type ultimate ogre. He has the same kind of skills - active, leader, and awoken, the same benefits and shortcomings, and is used the same way as an ogre, when you need to face dark attribute enemies. His difference is only one level of evolution, a steeper 2M EXP curve, both before and after evolution, and that all skill up and awakenings happen after this evolution. Therefore Shouki is harder to raise compared to the tricolor ogres, who for example can be easily made fully awoken, then ultimate evolved for skill up.
For New Players
So far Shouki only drops unevolved from Takeminakata Descended! and the upcoming, but much harder Izanami Descended, so you will not get one until the very late game. However, given the general shortcomings of ogres, and Shouki being harder to raise still, AND there are alternatives for him (eg. for farming Super Kings), you can just not think about him and do just as well.
Background
Shouki is originally Zhong Kui, a "ghostbuster" figure of Chinese mythology, often revered as a guardian spirit by homes and businesses alike. Wikipedia
