Warded Storm God, Susano no Mikoto
Evaluation
For the longest time, Susano was the most loser-looking god in all of PAD. But with his new Ultimate Evolution, he's suddenly turned into a dreamboat! Who is your plastic surgeon!?
Susano's Leader Skill is largely useless (the Roman Gods' 55-60% color-specific resists are much better), but his Active Skill is one of the strongest defensive skills in the game, especially if skilled up from Gunma Collab. He is a good Sub on high-level teams, such as Horus teams taking on Zeus Descended, or a mono-Green Balanced team led by 
Noble Wolf King Hero, Cu Chulainn. Three max-skill Susanos (or four unskilled ones) are able to set up the legendary Infinite-Defense barrier... but who is going to do that? [* 1]
Note that the biggest competitor to Susano is 
Wood Mech Warrior, Asgard, who is farmable, more easily skilled-up, and provides more HP for less EXP. On the other hand, Susano's defense skill lasts longer, and he has better overall stats, especially after Ultimate Evolution.
For New Players
Susano is completely terrible as a Leader, so you should immediately reroll if you get him for your starter. He is good (though not irreplaceable) as a Sub if you're building a Green or Rainbow team.
Background
In Japanese mythology, Susano-o was the god of storms, brother to Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. He married Kushinada-hime after saving her from the eight-headed serpent, Yamata no Orochi. Wikipedia
